bolt on Horsepower

billions are wasted or  spent yearly on bolt on horsepower and torque...Pound for Pound it's the most expensive horsepower in the world these "bolt on" parts. Fact is your little 2.0, 1.8 even 1.5 is a "monster Engine, In motorcycle talk an 1100cc bike is considered a superbike, here you have a car with a 1500cc or 1.5Liter Displacement Motor. Only difference is weight and DE Tuning. Thats right a 1.5 Full Race Motor capable of 10k RPM+ with a huge fuel appetite, huge compression, agressive advance and acceleration maps etc, is capable of launching a couple thousand pounds of car down the track at a very decent pace. Problem for you is that HONDA and the rest want you to enjoy a spirted car, but still want it to last 300k miles, be reliable and most of all sip gas.... Knowing this why would you want to "augment" or improve an engine with that objective at the core of it's design? In other words if you're getting Zero gas to the chambers, why would you want headers? or if you have 30cc injectors, why would you want a high pressure fuel pressure regulator, or light cam gears? stand by for blog evolution this string will be called "bolt on hp"
