             one day, or up to 5 maybe more if it's on back order. Either way if we get a longer than average
             estimate we'll just go pick it up ourselves..
Dick Shorty: Oh ok, so tomorrow? or when?
Lugosi:  Well I don't think that fast unless our courier is going tomorrow, it's not impossible but not likely
              being that it's 5pm and we probably can't order until tomorrow..

Tuesday:  Hi this is Dick Shorty, I bought a hood yesterday and Mike told me that it would be in today,
               I was wondering if it had come in yet..
Lugosi:    Mike said that?
Dick;        Yeah he said Tomorrow you'll get it in..
Lugosi;    No must have been a mis understanding because we don't have it, we just opened about an hour
               ago.....

Dick:       Hello this is Dick Shorty, I was in there last week and ordered a hood and i was told that today it
              would "asbsolutely" be in today...is it in yet?
Lugosi:    Actually we just got word that it's being picked up tomorrow or Friday by our courier and brought
              down within 24 hours of pick up as he has other San Diego drops that he's consolidating
Dick:     Man this is getting really fuckin' old bro, I've been calling for almost two weeks and you guys Lie to
            me over and over just bullshitters man....im so over this shit...Imma go visit you guys tomorrow
             and  you don't have my shit, we're gona have a problem

Lugosi:    I'm not sure what you're talking about but if we've given you the wrong impression we're sorry
              we certainly don't gain anything by upsetting, you.. I mean we lose way more than you if

Dick      Hi  good morning I spoke to somebody yesterday Im the guy with the gtr hood order from 3 weeks
             ago...I was told it would be brought in in 24 hours, this was yesterday.
Lugosi:  Yeah actually we did confirm that he picked it up today from VIS but he won't be coming until
             Monday as per his promise..
Dick:    This is fucking bullshit man, I am so fuckin pissed right now, what kind of busines are you guys
             running man? you bullshit me and lie to me and give me excuse after excuse if you would'v just told
            me from day one "hey it's going to take a few day" man id' be chillin but u guys sit there and just
           fuckin bullshit me over and over..Im done man i want my money or my hood today by 5 or I'm callin
           the bar, the bbb, and coming over to repo some shit from your showroom, btw i just read your
          reviews and I know you guys are trying to rip me off fuck that, you picked the wrong marine, and trust

so he got a 900 dollar hood for 650, we made 50 bucks, now we have a bad review and we're out 650, plus we're out another 600 and we're stuck with a hood that we probably have to just move for 500 to sell fast.. This happens EVERY DAY PEOPLE JUST ASSUME THE WORST, EXPECT MIRACLES AND ONLY HEAR WHAT THE CHOOSE..IT REALLY TRULY IS SAD

has anyone ever dealt with Lugosi Autosport

It's real easy to critique, laugh, suggest, point, poke or disrespect a company...Especially if you're the kind of person who cannot take responsibility for him or herself... The people who have left bad reviews on yelp for example...We see a patten, lets take the first one....

This  woman comes in here (*without her car) and orders a 2008 Mercedes Bumper, we get her the bumper within 5 working days and call her every single day, to advise her of the status etc. *per her request*, she picks up the bumper, has a long sour face cause it "took too long" she didn't pay for shipping, or delivery, yet we paid over 89 bucks in Gas to get it down here.....she bring it back and wants a FREE bumper because we got her the wrong bumper. Turns out she drives a 1993 mercedes....So she blamed us for the NON fitment....She than makes a comment about race and instead of Cowering like most white people do when she pulls that bullshit, we're open for debate and we call her bluff and say "ok you want to go there." and we offer to discuss her subject matter..we figure since we'e latin and growing up there was no shortage of the word beaner and wetback, we're just as entitled and jaded to participate in such subject matter..She than pulls a triple reverse back invert kick flip fakie and take our willingness to openly discuss her subject as racist.......................So naturally she rips us on Yelp, ofcourse Lies Lies and more lies, took too long, got the run around, got disrespected, these guy's are Racisit..

Another  Woman comes in here and needs brake for her Audi, She can't afford the very low price of 400 dollars for complete, Pads, rotors, sensors, labor, she only buys Pads and says "put them on" Nevermind our recommendation against it..."i have no money for anything else she yells"....Almost ONE year later she comes in insisting we do a complete Brake overhaul, with all new parts. We ask How the heck  she arrived at that demand and she replies ..."i didn't pay to get squeeky brakes" we respond.."no....you didn't pay for brake period.." She goes to the BBB and the bar and reports us citing that we messed with her car and blah blah blah, yeah we tried to clean her ruined rotors cause she couldn't afford new ones...

We meet another  Fellow who upon first meeting him he's very very nice leaves us 5 stars saying.."these guys are great, good service, follow through, etc" We offer him a job because he informs us that he can go online and help us with marketing and more..We agree and his primary job is to place or renew 30 to 50 ads per day...or about one hour per day... we're talking 5 to 6 hours per week for a flat 80 dollars. We think it's fair, not going to break any records but hey it's almost 400 per month for one hour per day, it's a BMW payment right? So after a few weeks of Checkered performance ,he misses work for an entire week...when we refuse to pay him, he flips out and quits and changes his 5 stars to 1 and gives us a bad review, never mentioning he's an ex employee...SAD..

Another  Gentleman comes in here and it's 10pm on a friday he says, "he can u guys lower my car, I have a show tomorrow, we tell him we're closed, so he say's "can u at least install some HID's in my Mercedes?"" we agree and 2 hours later,we're finished, it's a very difficult installation, after we're done he says...."imma finna pay you friday ok?" we say "you could've asked us before we did the work", he get irrate and says "why u gotta be so greedy, imma pay you next friday..u gonna get ur money fuck man" NEVER REturned and gave us a bad reveiw...He came 3 years later and said.."i tried to pay you but everytime i had the money you'all weren't here so you're loss..." he pays us 200 dollars and orders springs *3 years later..it's a Thursday...we inform him that we're going to LA Friday tomorrow, so there's a good chance we'll grab his parts...we aren't able to grab his parts for reasons irrelevant to this story, so he comes in on monday demanding his springs citing that we Guaranteed his his parts on friday, yet he can't say who said that...just somebody here he says...so he makes a scene and to get rid of him we refund his damn money, at which point we say, Can you please pay us for the HID's we installed on your car, and he say.."you want me to pay u for HID's that you put on a car that wasn't even mine? we say "uhh yeah exactly you came in here and asked for the credit so you're liable regardless of who's car it is..well I'm good he says and walks out...Leaves us another bad reveiw..

Another  Fellow comes in and orders BMW front and read bumpers w/side skirts, we get him the bumpers, I'll admit they took two weeks 10 working days. we're not going to LIE.. when he comes in to pick them up he refuses to take them because the skirts aren't in yet, "Sir they discontinued the skirts we're' trying to find them elsewhere // one month later he comes in asking for a refund and we tell him "sir your bumper have been sitting here for over a month now..." "well" he says "I dont need them anymore, the show came and went and it just didn't work out............he's being half way nice about it, and we're decent people and after all the skirts WERE discontinued so we tell him "why don't u come back in a couple of days and we'll try to sort this out""...so he comes back and agrees to half the deposit, while we try to return or sell the bumpers, one week later he returns for the other 200 dollars and gets it, he than says "oh u owe me 90 dollars because I wrote three checks that bounced which is your fault because i assumed u were going to pay me sooner and i wrote the checks, when we refused he take the bumper and walks out with it, when we stop him he breaks the bumper in half so we can't sell it than promises to burn our place down because "we're shysty".. so he leaves a bad review..

this is a brand new one, kid comes in here and asks for a halo kit for his car, inform him that it's 150, he leaves twenty bucks...a few days later we offer to uprade him to a new kit that we're waiting to hit the market. we inform him that although it cost more we would leave the price alone, plus give him a discount..so  the new kits are 200 installed, the kit he ordered is 150 but we said we'll install a temporary kit and only charge him 100 bucks and then upgrade him when the new ones come out...we end up doing a house call, so  we end up at his house fixing his entire front end that's falling apart over 3 hours of free work..he cant thank us enough, we ask him just to be cool online and talk good about us..I believe he paid us 100 on the spot and forgot he gave us 20 deposit? im not clear but he saved 100 bucks, or 80 i guess if he's asking for 20 dollars, that's his big beef is "we owe him 20 bucks" he even went so far as to slander us on our own facebook calling us bullshitters and conmen because we owe him 20 dollars. so since he's being cheesy we decided to be cheesy and say. what about the 3 hours of free work man i mean we're not charging you but the least u can do is not talk shit about us on our own facebook...should've known the response was "you put two screws in my bumper and used ductape to install my angel eyes, hie headlights were shot, sometimes you gotta do hat you gotta do.. ..you guessed it..that would be 6...

Smaller is better,...in the AGE of GIANT neanderthol intercoolers

BOOST LAG....People love boost lag, we make an argument for running a more effecient Smaller unit
that has superior cooling elements such as fans, water jets etc. We tested an audi A4 installing a bigger front mount unit, VS installing an even smaller than stock unit out of a passat, with minor mods for the sensor bung. using some nifty JBSTICK, o ring and step drill bit....we managed to also install a slim fan (no water jets but we love the idea of windchill cooling and reducing lag to ZERO by not having to fill up a Giant tank before torque moves the wheels....just doesn't make sense, field test results (seat of pants NOT dyno) says smaller is better.....

More to come as we create a turn key plug and play fan/h2o jet / wet air to air unit with simulated velocity or  in laymans terms "a fan" haha...

hid xenon retrofitting JOKE Industry has become a FARCE

I remember back in 06 07 when HID's were a respectable industry before the pigeons and other opportunist species stepped in to just ravage the public.. Every huckster, scammer, charleton, fake, fraud, weenie, yes weenie, sell HID kits, talk about a MINE FIELD industry.

HID kits back when they were 400 hundred dollars Retail, all came with the required RELAY HARNESS/AND FUSE it just wasn't a choice. You're vehicles switch just can't handle 23000 Volts long term and WILL BLOW eventually.

HID suppliers from the biggest whale importers down to the craigslist hucksters don't give two shits about your Switch, they want your 20 bucks and they'll do and say anything to separate you from your money.

We highly recommend you come into Autometricka @ Lugosi and talk to our Qualified/Certified 20 years of Automotive experience Techs before you just jump in. Just because your cousin Tommy installed his own kit and it's been working for over 5 months with no issues is not a good reason to expose yourself to a potentially very very expensive repair...When you've compromised your electrical system in your car, sometimes, most of the time you will NEVER EVER find where the fault lies. You might have a melt down somewhere between the main harness and fuse box requiring you to literally pull your engine out to get to the melt down...so you'll end up having to do a "patch" to circumvent the problem usually the "patch" is the relay that you never installed the first time.. Ironic indeed, prevention is same as fix .... only the latter assumes you have a broken car..

Lugosi Autosport Can help you either repair your factory xenon system properly, or retrofit your vehicle with HID's or Xenon lights properly again... Usually the price is identical after the Shysters and Hucksters finish bullshitting you and upselling you crap you don't need..
